The Eastern Golden Frog (Pelophylax plancyi), is a species of true frog found in northeastern China. It is closely related to the Seoul frog.
Compared to their close reletives the Panamanian Golden Frogs which are extremly rare and may have already gone extinct these Goldon Frogs are really common. They originated through out China but now have been introduced to a number of countries like America, Japan and many more.
There is a tiny population existing in central England of around 6 breeding pairs.
